Tonight while we were putting Joy to sleep:
"Mommy, I luh you mommy." Kiss.
A bit later after a little prompting:
"I luh you daddy."
"Mommy, I luh you mommy." Kiss.
A bit later after a little prompting:
"I luh you daddy."

My daughter said that a couple weeks ago, her daughter (almost 3 now) came up and hugged her 'round the neck from behind -unprompted- and said, Mommy, you are my best friend! We both almost cried. Oh....what you have to look forward to!!!
