Baba Speaks!?!

Required vocabulary for this entry: Baba=daddy=dadoo, Gwai Gwai=baby=Joy=good girl

Sometimes it seems it's all "Mama, mama, mama!" or "Ma MA!" or the pitiful "Boo hoo, mama."

But every so often...Baba makes an appearance.

Here are things Baba is good at: bubbles, lifting Joy to the ceiling, making ni-ni's (bottles), tickles, chasing, hiding, driving, slides, hats,
taking photos,

running, hiding, putting in Elmo video.

Baba is sometimes not allowed to: touch elbows, pick up baby, touch mama, touch toes, enter room, touch books, touch tricycle, put on shoes, touch tv remote.

While it is very clear that Mama is still first choice and that being a Dadoo is tough work, nothing beats the giggles, the hugs and the "Baba's!" when you pick your Gwai-gwai up from pre-school or arrive at the door.

Baba is also hilarious. She'll figure that out soon enough, and then she'll be gloating that she has the funniest daddy in town. ;)
